MANOA OUTREACH PROGRAM ON MAUI

The Manoa Outreach Program on Maui (a Liberal Studies program for Maui students) is part of the University of Hawaii Outreach College.  We offer upper division and graduate credit programs to residents of Maui County.

Undergraduate students may earn the Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, with the major equivalent in Human Relations in Organizations. The major is interdisciplinary in nature and focuses on the application of psychological and sociological principles in organizational settings.  Course work focuses on the behavioral sciences, communication principles, and organizations and their operations. Courses should be chosen to reflect the student's area of interest, bringing the total number of courses in the major to twelve (36 credit hours).  Earning a bachelor's degree in Human Relations in Organizations provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth and advancement for those planning a career or already working in supervisory, personnel, administrative and other organizational positions.  It also provides a solid foundation for those wishing to pursue graduate studies.
