For Students on Suspension Spring 2006 - read this entire page carefully

The suspension period is for one semester.

If you wish to return to UHM after your suspension period, you must apply for readmission by the deadline.
Applications can be picked up at the Admissions Office in QLCSS room 1, or completed online at www.hawaii.edu/admrec.

You are suspended from the UH-Mānoa campus only.

This means that you can attend a community college or other institution if you wish, but this could endanger your readmission to UHM.

Read the following carefully!

If you do NOT take classes elsewhere during your suspension period, AND if you apply by the deadline for your intended semester of return, you will have automatic readmission to UHM.

If you enroll elsewhere, you must earn a cumulative GPA of 2.0 (C average) for all courses taken after Fall 2005.  If your GPA does not meet 2.0, you will be denied readmission to UHM.

Remember:

  • Apply for readmission to return in the Fall semester. You can apply online at www.hawaii.edu/admrec

  • If you take classes at another campus while you're on suspension from UHM, be sure to earn a grade of C or better for every course taken. Know when your withdrawal deadlines are; do not stay in courses when you are failing!

  • See an advisor if you have any questions or concerns about your academic progress.
