The dismissal period is for a minimum of one academic year.

You are dismissed from the UHM campus only. 

If you wish to return to UHM after your dismissal period, you must apply for readmission.  A statement of intent must be included with your application, explaining how circumstances have changed, enabling satisfactory academic performance.  You may be required to take courses at another institution and earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 before your application will be considered.  Applications can be picked up at the Admissions Office in QLCSS room 1, or completed online at www.hawaii.edu/admrec.
