You've Completed Your Grad Session — What's Next?

One
One week after your GRAD Session, pick up your GRAD Packet at QLC 113. Your GRAD Packet will include all of your worksheets from the GRAD Session; the most important of which is your GRAD Plan.  Be sure to follow this plan when registering for your final semesters!

Two
Approximately two weeks after the GRAD Session, a $15 Mānoa Diploma Fee will be posted on your MyUH Portal account. To pay this fee online, in the left hand column on the MyUH Portal page click on REGISTRATION  --> Other Tasks --> Review my changes/Make An Online Payment.

Three
In your graduating semester, you will receive an email with instructions at your username@hawaii.edu address. This will include directions for registering for commencement, and purchasing your cap and gown and graduation announcements.  You can also pick up a printed copy of instructions at our Service Counter in QLC 113.

Four
Visit Career Services (QLC 212, 956.8136) for guidance in job applications. For a nominal fee, Career Services will open a Credential File for you, keeping your letters of reference on file.  Copies of your letters of reference will be sent at your request to potential employers, graduate schools and other programs.  

Five
Complete the remaining requirements on your GRAD Plan successfully and GRADUATE ... and CELEBRATE!

Is graduate school for you?
Get started in the right direction by speaking with your departmental advisors and professors.  Attend one of our "Graduate School Informational Workshops" presented each Fall semester.  Fall 2006: Oct 12 (W) and 18 (T), 1:30-3:30 pm in KUY 101.  (It's the same session, offered at two different times.)
