SELF-PACED TUTORIALS

Go through any or all of these to learn about A&S degree requirements and how to keep track of your academic progress.  Click here for more information on our academic planning sessions.

You may find it helpful to download Program Sheets, Progress Worksheets, Academic Plans, and Reference Sheets to use as a reference as you go through the on-line tutorials.  These can be accessed from the JUMP Online page.

For students on the 2008 - 2009 College Program Requirements:

Technical Notes

Tutorials are web-based Powerpoint presentations, optimized for laptop screens and 15" to 17” monitors at 1024 x 768 resolution.  They are best viewed in MSIE 5.0 and higher.  You do not need Powerpoint installed on your computer.  If you are on a dial-up connection note that it may take up to 15 seconds for pages to load.

  • Adjust the frame size by dragging on the bar separating the slides from the outline.  

  • Expand or collapse the text in the outline to aid in navigation.  

  • Move forward and back through slides by clicking on the left and right arrows under the slide frame.

  • If the presentation is either too large or too small, the resolution on a Windows-PC can be adjusted by opening the Display Control Panel (under Start Menu->Settings) and adjusting the "Screen Area" slider under the "Settings" tab. (Mac OS X instructions forthcoming)
