Evaluation of Advising Services
EVALUATION PROCEDURES:
For individual advising appointments, evaluations are given out by the service desk attendant to students prior to the advising appointment. These evaluations are designed to measure student perception of advisor qualities in an individual advising setting, change in content knowledge, and comfort with incorporating this new knowledge in educational planning activities.
For group advising sessions (JUMP and GRAD), evaluations are included in each student's session materials and are designed to measure student perception of the quality of advisor teaching styles and of their change in content knowledge and ability to apply this knowledge to developing an academic plan.
