Standard Advising (individual advising)

Advisers are available to meet with you individually to discuss all aspects of your academic experience, from helping you decide on a major to interpreting university academic policy. Same-day, half-hour appointments with the adviser of your choice are available, though during busy periods like registration and the first couple of weeks of each semester, advisers are available only on a first-come, first-served basis. A&S Advisers are here to help you make the most of your Arts and Sciences education!

Telephone Advising

If you have a quick question about anything related to academic advising, you should be able to get your answer over the phone. An adviser is on call from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. to answer general advising questions. Dial 956-8755 and follow the voice menu's instructions.
Note: For legal reasons, and to protect your privacy, an adviser will not be able to discuss your academic record in detail. For in-depth advising, please meet with an adviser in person.
